The Evidence a Qatar Parent Receives

Paying for tutoring you cannot sit in on is uncomfortable. So the reporting is built to answer one question honestly: is the grade moving, and which topics moved it.

Notes every week

After each hour you get the topic taught, what went well and what did not. Written by the tutor, not produced from a template.

Marks, not impressions

Timed questions are marked against the real scheme and the mark comes to you. A number you can track beats a tutor saying progress is good.

Recordings kept

Every lesson is recorded and stays in the account. You can watch any part of it, which also means nothing about the teaching is hidden from you.

Essay marks move more slowly and need more evidence. Weekly marked paragraphs show which band the writing sits in and what the next one asks for.

Who writes the notes

The Tutor Writes Your Report, Not an Office

The person who taught the hour writes what happened in it. Nobody sits between the lesson and you summarising it, which is why the notes name actual topics.

How it begins

Three Steps to the First Written Report

01

Describe the problem

Say what the last report or mock showed. That is more useful than the subject alone, because it tells us which specialist to pick.

02

Meet your specialist

A name, a background and open slots arrive inside 24 hours. You can ask them questions before any payment is discussed.

03

Read the first notes

After lesson one you receive the written summary. From then it arrives weekly, and the marks build into a line you can read.

Which Option Actually Reports Back to You

Teaching quality is hard to compare from outside. What is easy to compare is whether you are told anything specific afterwards, and whether a mark backs it up.

Qatar questions

What Qatar Parents Ask About Progress

What exactly do I receive after a lesson?

A short written note from the tutor naming the topic taught, what your child handled well, and what still needs work. If a timed question was marked, the mark is included.

How soon should I expect a grade to move?

In Maths, often within six weeks, because method marks respond quickly. In essay subjects it is slower and usually shows first as a steadier band rather than a jump.

Can I watch a lesson myself?

You can watch the recording of any lesson, which most parents find easier than sitting in. Being watched live changes how a fifteen year old behaves in the hour.

Who marks the timed questions?

The tutor who teaches the subject, against the published mark scheme. Every tutor sits a marking test before being allowed to teach, so the mark you see means something.

What if the notes show no improvement at all?

Then we tell you and change something: the approach, the number of lessons, or the tutor. Reporting that only ever sounds positive is not reporting, it is marketing.

Do you contact the school directly?

Only if you ask us to. Most families prefer to pass on what is useful themselves, and send us the scheme of work so lessons follow the school order.

Which days and times do lessons run in Doha?

Sunday to Thursday evenings mostly, booked in local time, with Friday and Saturday mornings available. The slot stays the same each week once it is agreed.

Are the notes shared with my child too?

Yes, and that matters. A student who reads what the tutor wrote about their own six mark answer tends to arrive next week already thinking about it.
